Great Wall of China

The first one is the Great Wall of China. China has long been a prominent tourist spot for Westerners. Its walls stand several hundreds of meters high, and they’re a great way to see the country’s fantastic architecture. It is one of the most important ancient wonders of the world.

Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. When it was completed, it was the tallest and biggest palace in all of Asia. And it still stands to this day. It’s considered one of the seven wonders of the world. The next one on our must-see list is the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.

Statue of Liberty

This stunning and breathtaking construction is a tribute to love and devotion. It took twenty-one years for it to be built. Some say it took as long as twenty-four thousand years to build. And, of course, we can’t leave out the Statue of Liberty. It’s always a nice place to visit, and it’s always nice to take a walk along the shore while you’re in New York. But the Island of Manhattan itself has many sites to see and marvel at as well. The Empire State Building is another must-visit place.

Last but not least in our list is the Statue of Liberty itself. This giant pedestal statue symbolizes the hope and dream of a new life to many immigrants who made the difficult crossing over to the New World over the past centuries. You can see the Statue from Fort Jay, near Ellis Island. Another great place to see the Statue is at the US Congress, from the South Portico of the House of Representatives.

The original meaning of the Statue is “Give me your downtrodden.” It is a call to Americans to give all Americans a chance. There are so many historical sites to visit, historical places and tourist attractions in the United States, that there’s really no reason anyone should ever feel left out. So give yourself a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the world like no other.
